White Horse Bar

The oldest continuously operating gay bar in the United States — pouring since 1933. A North Oakland institution on Telegraph at the Berkeley border, the White Horse packs its calendar with Queer-aoke twice a week, drag king shows, dance nights, and a happy hour that brings the neighborhood in. Ninety years of queer history, and still one of the East Bay's warmest rooms.
