Folsom Street Fair 2026 has passed
This guide comes back for the next edition. Until then, every queer event in San Francisco is on the city page.
Good to know
When is Folsom Street Fair 2026?
Sunday, September 27, 2026, from 11am to 6pm — the last Sunday of September, as always. The parties run from Friday night through Monday.
Where is it?
Folsom Street between 7th and 13th Streets in SoMa, plus the side streets — 8th through 12th between Howard and Harrison, and Dore Alley from Howard to the end. Roughly a mile of closed street.
Does it cost anything?
Entry is by donation. Give $10–20 at the gate and you get the fair sticker, which is a discount at every bar inside. Net proceeds go to local charities in public health, human services and the arts — the fair raises well over $300,000 a year.
Is there an age limit?
Adults only: 18 and up, and the organizers ask you not to bring anyone younger. You need to be 21 to drink — every bar inside cards on every purchase.
What about the dress code?
There isn't one. Nudity is allowed on the fair grounds — the organizers' words are "nude is not lewd". There is a coat check on site, so you can arrive dressed and decide later.
What can't I bring?
Weapons, knives, sharps, glass bottles and cans. Accessible parking (blue zones) is available near the fair if you need it.
How do I get there?
Walk, bike or transit. Civic Center BART and Muni are about a ten-minute walk to the 8th Street gate, and the whole neighborhood is closed to cars around the fair. If you must drive, book parking in advance — the organizers point to SpotHero.
What happens after the fair?
The weekend is the point. Friday and Saturday are the big dance parties — Magnitude, the Saturday-night main event, Bearracuda, CHUNK, PERVERT and the rest — and Sunday night is the afters: Deviants, the official Folsom afterparty, plus every bar in SoMa. All of it is on this page.
Your whole night out,
in your pocket.
Everything on this page, plus what a website can't do.
