About
Nitrix Oxide is a psycho-comedy queen — spooky and campy with a sharp tongue and quick wit, landing somewhere between drag queen and king. The name comes from nitrous oxide: funny, intoxicating, twisted, and very stupid. The character is a space alien that crash-lands on Earth and likes to play dress up, drawing on Leigh Bowery, Divine, Peaches Christ, The Boulet Brothers, and Keith Haring. A San Francisco club kid turned producer and host, Nitrix runs a run of city-wide nights.
